BTMS TestingTesting Dates and Information for Remote or Virtual Students - Updated

The Spring 2021 Assessment Season here, and we want you to feel informed and comfortable about coming to campus for your student’s state assessments. Please read this information carefully.

Students are not permitted to take Florida Standards Assessments at home or outside of the school day setting. This means that our Remote, iFlagler, FLVS, & Homeschool (virtual) learners must come to campus to take their exams.

We have made adjustments to our testing dates and are asking all families and students to confirm they will attend the testing sessions. Please complete this Google Form by May 5, 2021 to confirm. Once you complete the form, you will receive an email with your group assignment, specific dates, times, drop off and pick up information, what to bring and what not to bring.

All of our virtual students will test on separate days from our face to face students. Most of our virtual students will be testing in large areas like the cafeteria and the gymnasium. Some of our virtual students will be testing in classrooms to provide accommodations. To ensure safety and social distancing, students will sit no more than two to a long table in the dining hall or gym and testing corrals will be placed between each student as a barrier.
Students Must:

  • Bring a mask (must be worn while on campus)
  • Bring their fully charged iPad or laptop. Computers will be restarted before testing. Save all work.
  • Must secure their own transportation to and from school for testing and must leave campus immediately following testing.
  • All students can be dropped off and picked up near the cafeteria (the building in between BTMS and WES). Parents, please stay in your cars. Your students will be escorted to their testing locations by BTMS staff.
